Ajay was fighting the battle of the bulge herself. Weighing
in at well over 110 kilos (so heavy she couldn't find scales
to weigh herself on) she finally declared war on her obesity
and set about making major life changes that she upholds
today. Having failed at dieting a million times before she
made the commitment to learning new methods of losing weight
without using the D -word (Diet!!).
She
lost over forty kilos in the first year, kept a diary of
all she learnt when losing the weight and subsequently published
the best selling hilariously uplifting book Confessions of
a Reformed Dieter. She then went on to publish the practical
how-to best seller The Lazy Girl's Guide to Losing Weight
and GettingFit.
Knowing how lonely her own battle had been
and understanding the plight of others in a similar situation
having been inundated with requests for help from those who
read her books she decided to set up anonline motivation
and support service for anyone wanting to lose weight, get
fit, live healthier or just generally transform their life.
In
2006 she was then invited to become host of the Australian
series of The Biggest Loser. Since then she has championed
the causes of women wanting to take back their lives, has
started the very popular www.healthybodyclub.com.au, is a
highly sought after motivational speaker, has regular columns
in Cleo and Woman's Day and is mother to her seven year old
son Kai (which coincidentally means food in Maori).
Ajay
also now calls herself a triathlete and a Pinkie. In
2007 Ajay completed the Sydney and Melbourne Ramsay Healthcare
Triathlon Pink events. Her finishing shots is one of
the most inspirational of the series. Ajay will be
there to help you get to the start line and across the finish
line in 2008. For more info on Ajay and the fabulous
